Hazenberg Archeologie specialises in archaeological research and consultancy. We support large and small governments and offer our archaeological expertise to various international organisations.

The company was founded in 2001 by archaeologist and entrepreneur Tom Hazenberg who, over the years, managed to succesfully make Hazenberg Archeologie one of the largest archaeological consultancies in the Netherlands. Hazenberg Archeologie currently employs over twenty people in staff.

These are some of our projects:

Roman Coastline (2010)
Hazenberg Archeologie combines five different Roman sites (Texel, Valkenburg, The Hague Ockenburgh, Goedereede and Aardenburg) to an integrated research program, named Romeinse Kust (Roman Coastline).

BorgerMeetings (2009)
We initiated a series of specalist conferences on prehistoric Funnelbeaker (TRB)-research together with the Megalith Museum in Borger. Visit

Antwerp (2008)
