About us
Hazenberg Archeologie is an archaeological consultancy that specialises in supporting large and small governments, management of large infrastructural projects, visualisation of archaeology, scientific research and finally: event organisation.The company was founded in 2001 by archaeologist and entrepeneur Tom Hazenberg who, over the years, managed to succesfully make Hazenberg Archeologie one of the largest archaeological consultancies in the Netherlands. Hazenberg Archeologie currently employs over twenty people in staff.
Recent projects include a vast research-project to the cultural and archaeological history of the city of Antwerp (B), Management of excavations in Gouda, Vlaardingen and several other cities and the publication of numerous both academic and popular archaeological studies.
